We’re Outta Here

Last Group Exhibition at Glendale location

August 12 - September 9, 2023

The Pit Los Angeles

CHECKLIST

The Pit is pleased to present “We’re Outta Here” our annual summer group show at The Pit Los Angeles. Pulling it’s name from the Ramones final farewell album of the same name, the exhibition is a joyous, exuberant, community driven exhibition of 20 artists brought together to foster new connections, conversations, and collisions. Since The Pit’s inception in 2014, the gallery has always had a focus on wide ranging, immersive, group exhibitions that bring together artists from different genres, generations, and locations - in total 428 artists have exhibited at The Pit. To commemorate this bittersweet occasion of growth and new beginnings, please join us on Saturday August 12th from 5-7pm for an opening reception in celebration of The Pit’s final group show in Glendale, before relocating to our new home in the Atwater Village neighborhood! Our gallery started nine years ago focusing solely on group exhibitions, and throwing parties as a means to generate camaraderie amongst artists and arts professionals in the LA scene.  Please join us as we celebrate one more big group show in this magical little alley in Glendale.

The exhibition will feature artwork by Merrick Adams, Chase Barney, Emily Yong Beck, Rhys Coren, Corydon Cowasage, Adam de Boer, Larissa de Souza, Aaron Johnson, MJ Kim, Clinton King, Hein Koh, Mark Laver, Bruna Massadas, Richard Nam, Matt Phillips, Megan Reed, Leena Similu, Paul Wackers, David “Mr.StarCity” White, and Jamie Gray Williams.
