Chase Biado was born in 1985. The artist received a BFA from Portland State University, Portland, Oregon in 2012. Biado exhibits both under his own name as well as one half of the art and design duo A History of Frogs alongside his partner Antonia Pinter. Solo exhibitions of Biado’s work have taken place at The Pit in Los Angeles, CA; Dimin in New York, NY; Noon Projects in Los Angeles, CA; among others. Group exhibitions that have shown Biado’s work have taken place at: The Pit, Los Angeles, CA; Dimin Gallery, New York, NY; Herbert Art Museum, Coventry, UK; VODA, Seoul, South Korea; Marta, Los Angeles, CA; Bozo Mag, Los Angeles CA; The Neutra VDL House, Los Angeles, CA; Rusha & Co., Los Angeles, CA; Helen’s Costume, Portland, OR among others. Rosson Crow (b. 1982 in Dallas, TX) received her Master of Fine Arts from Yale University and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts, New York. Crow has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH; Deitch Projects, New York, NY; Galerie Nathalie Obadia, Paris, France; Honor Fraser, Los Angeles, CA; Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX; Musée Régional d’Art Contemporain de Sérignan, Paris, France; Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson, Tucson, AZ, and elsewhere. She has been included in group exhibitions at numerous international institutions including The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh, PA; Centre d’Art Contemporain, Meymac, France; Galerie Nathalie Obadia, Brussels, Belgium; Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX; Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg; Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome, Rome, Italy; Royal Academy of the Arts, London, United Kingdom; and Whitechapel Gallery, London, United Kingdom. Crow lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
Heather Rasmussen was born in Santa Ana, CA in 1982 and lives in Los Angeles. She received a Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA in 2007 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine, CA in 2004. She grew up dancing classical ballet spent summers at intensive programs around the country. While in high-school, she was part of the professional company, Ballet Unlimited, who participated in the Southwest Regional Dance America Festivals. While at UC Irvine, she discovered photography and left the dance world. She was encouraged to apply to CalArts, where she was then was mentored by the artist Allan Sekula. She currently works in the mediums of photography, video, sculpture and installation.
Rasmussen’s work has been the subject of one-person exhibitions at the Weingart Gallery, Occidental College, Los Angeles, CA (2015); California Museum of Photography, Riverside, CA (2015); and Angels Gate Cultural Center, San Pedro, CA (2012) and a three-person exhibition at The Art Institute of Chicago, IL (2011). Solo gallery exhibitions include animal, vegetable, mineral (2021) and Pile/Plié at The Pit, Glendale, CA (2018) and Body Variations at ACME., Los Angeles, CA (2017).
