Samsara / Eternal Cycle is a limited edition off set lithograph that was prepared and hand printed by our friend and partner printer at Gray Area Print.  Archival oil based inks were printed on a thick cotton rag paper.  The image is taken from an ongoing series of daily graphite drawings by The Pit’s founder Adam D. Miller and is the first in our ongoing series of commissioned artist editions.

About the artist

Adam D. Miller (Bellevue WA. 1982) lives and works in Los Angeles, California. He received his MFA from Art Center College of Design in 2008. In 2012 he had a solo exhibition at Steve Turner Contemporary titled Rise of the Minotaur. He has independently curated for over five years working with numerous artists, galleries and institutions around Los Angeles on exhibitions such as Chasm of the Supernova at Eagle Rock Center for the Arts (2012), Shorn From the Black Tusk of the Great Destroyer at RAID Projects (2011), Birthing Valley of the Blood Poppies at Actual Size Gallery (2011), and Banquet of the Black Jackal at the Luckman Gallery (2011). He is the co-owner and director of The Pit: Exhibitions & Editions an artist run art gallery and print house in Glendale, Ca. In 2011, Miller was chosen as one of Art Review’s “Future Greats."
