Join Saatchi Art's Nicole Garton for the exclusive unveiling of Florian Morlat's new limited edition print, specially commissioned by  The Pit and released in conjunction with its inaugural exhibition, The Outlanders, recently reviewed by Art Slant.

Hailed by the L.A. Times' Christopher Knight as "engagingly strange," Morlat's work recalls the eccentric sculptural forms of Franz West and the Pop iconography of 1960s California, his home of nearly 20 years. Morlat and The Outlanders' other critically-acclaimed artists create work that references L.A.’s unique culture and history. From Kim Fisher’s nuanced compositions with slivers pulled from fashion magazines, to Pearl C. Hsiung’s psychedelic musings on nature, toMary Weatherford’s swirling and electric explorations of light, the city and its mythology are at the heart of this debut outing from The Pit. The exhibition includes works by Sarah ConawayPearl C. Hsiung, Kim Fisher,Shana LutkerFlorian Morlat, Jon PestoniMungo Thomson, and Mary Weatherford.

In what figures to be another sell-out salon, this is a one-time opportunity to experience this intimate show and celebrate the release of Morlat's never-before seen limited edition print.

The intimacy of the proceedings require that we strictly cap our attendance at 30 individuals who will:
* Privately tour The Outlanders led by the show's curators
* Explore the studios of The Pit's founders, Devon Oderand  Adam D. Miller
*Have the opportunity to be the first to collect the debut print of one of today's most exciting artists
*Enjoy cocktails created by artist Emily Marchand with The Outlanders exhibition in mind.
